How it works

From your BOM to a decision you can defend.

Three steps, each with a clear scope and price. You see what every figure is based on, and your team makes the decisions.

Free product review

Request your free 20-minute review →

A 20-minute conversation about one product family and the goal behind it: lower unit cost, lower carbon, or a decision between options you already have.

What to bring

  • The product family and roughly how many SKUs it covers.
  • The goal, and any deadline or customer request driving it.
  • No BOM. We only ask for data once the sprint starts.

What you leave with

  • A clear answer on whether the program fits your products.
  • If it fits, the sprint scope and the data request for it.
02

Redesign Sprint

In about 4 weeks you know which redesign to pursue, what it changes in cost and carbon, and what is still unproven.

$7,500 (Starter), $12,500 (Pro) or from $25,000 (Enterprise), paid before kickoff. It is the only setup fee.

  1. You send

    An anonymized bill of materials

    • Down to sub-parts, anonymized on your own machine
    • Annual volume and expected service life
    • Any design constraints

Never supplier names or named-vendor prices.

  2. We compare

    Three levers against your baseline

Material substitutionLower-impact or lower-cost materials suited to each component's application.
Recycled contentVerified recycled-content grades, where your specification and food-contact requirements allow them.
DematerializationLess material per part without shortening useful life, checked against thinning and strength limits.
  3. You get

    A go/no-go business case

    • A cost and carbon baseline we both agree on
    • Hotspots and compared options, with the evidence still missing
    • A business case and a go/no-go decision

You keep every artifact either way.

Week 1Intake and a baseline you sign off
Weeks 2–3Hotspots, and the three levers compared on cost and carbon
Week 4Business case and go/no-go review call

Timeline for Starter. Pro and Enterprise timing depends on the SKUs in scope.

03

Monthly program

If the business case holds, the program continues at $2,500 (Starter), $6,500 (Pro) or from $12,000 (Enterprise) per month. Prepaid month-to-month. No long-term commitment.

Process, durability, repair, packaging, logistics and circular levers are assessed level by level in the monthly program.

What each month produces

  • A prioritized opportunity and decision backlog.
  • Updated cost and carbon comparisons as your data and supplier quotes come in.
  • Engineering requirements, accountable owners and visible blockers.
  • A monthly review and the next agreed action.

We ask for data one phase at a time

  1. 01
    Baseline reconciliation

Process, facility region, energy, yield, scrap and conversion cost.

  2. 02
    Supplier evidence

Carbon footprints, EPDs, quotes, MOQ and lead time, submitted by suppliers directly.

  3. 03
    From sign-off to production

Test requirements, regulations and sign-off reviewers; sample test results; tooling and other one-time costs with a target release date; then production actuals for quantity, cost and yield.

Progress depends on your inputs, supplier responses, testing and production timing. We make the next requirement visible at each stage. Climacope takes no percentage of your savings. No fee is charged when a change reaches production.

How the numbers stay honest

Every figure carries a label.

A lower footprint can cost more, and some effects are still unknown. Each figure shows how far it has been checked, so an incomplete total never looks complete.

Modelled
Calculated from stated inputs and factors. Not a measured result.
Screened
A first-pass comparison. Your own data has to confirm it.
Needs supplier quote
The figure depends on a quote or supplier evidence that has not arrived yet.
Needs client sign-off
An engineering or commercial owner on your side has to approve it.
Not assessed
No number yet. It is never counted as zero in a total.

Engineering, firmware and commercial approvals stay with the owners on your team. We recommend; you decide.

Your data

Shape, not secrets.

We never learn who your suppliers are, what your parts are called or what your product is. Costs and masses reach us under tokens because that is the arithmetic, and your key to re-identify them never leaves your network.

We never see

Product name
Replaced with a token (PROD-…) on your machine.
Supplier names
Replaced with tokens (SUP-…). The same supplier gets the same token.
Part numbers
Replaced with tokens (PART-…).
The mapping back to names
Encrypted with your passphrase and never sent to us.
CAD, drawings, contracts, personnel data
Not part of the intake. Nothing in the pipeline uses them.

We do see

Material class and mass
For the carbon arithmetic.
Unit cost, annual volume and sale price
For the cost arithmetic. There is no margin effect without them.
Function, compliance and service life
To check each option against its constraints.
Notes, stream labels and product category
Generic context, scanned for personal data at the intake gate.

A BOM with masses, unit costs, volumes and sale price is commercially sensitive even without names. Read the privacy architecture →

Common questions

Before you start.

What is included each month?

Analysis and coordination within the agreed product-family and capacity scope, producing the backlog, comparisons, requirements and monthly review described above.

Is there a setup fee?

The sprint is the setup: $7,500 (Starter), $12,500 (Pro) or from $25,000 (Enterprise). It delivers the baseline, options and business case, and you keep them whether or not you continue. The program then continues month to month for your tier, with no fee when a change reaches production.

Do you guarantee savings?

No. Results depend on product inputs, evidence, supplier responses, qualification and production conditions.

Does the program include physical testing?

Laboratory testing, tooling and other physical implementation costs are not included unless the engagement explicitly says otherwise.

What happens during the 4-week sprint?

Week 1: intake and a cost and carbon baseline you sign off. Weeks 2–3: hotspots, and the three levers compared on cost and carbon. Week 4: the business case and a go/no-go review call. Timing on Pro and Enterprise depends on the SKUs in scope.

What is not included in the sprint?

Laboratory testing, tooling and other physical implementation work. Supplier quotes and supplier evidence, which come in the monthly program. Levers beyond the three sprint levers, such as repair, packaging and logistics.

What if the sprint's answer is no-go?

You keep the baseline and the analysis, and there is no obligation to continue into the monthly program.

How much of our team's time does it take?

A kickoff call, one check of the baseline data, and the final review call. Most of the data work sits with whoever owns the bill of materials; we tell you exactly what is needed before kickoff.

Can I stop after the sprint?

Yes. The program is prepaid month to month, and the sprint deliverables are yours either way.

Start with a clear fit check.

No BOM required beforehand. A request starts a conversation, not a confirmed booking.
