Terms of Use — Climacope

Draft under legal review. These terms describe how the site and its free tools may be used today; they will be finalized with counsel. Client engagements are governed by executed agreements, not this page.

1. What this site is

climacope.com presents Climacope's products, research, and free in-browser tools. Content is informational. Published pricing is an invitation to start a conversation — an engagement exists only under an executed agreement (NDA, Pilot & Infrastructure Retainer Agreement, or order form), which then governs.

2. The free tools — what their numbers are (and aren't)

The diagnostic and audit simulator compute their results with a transparent deterministic model. Their outputs are illustrative estimates — not a quote, not an audit, not a savings guarantee, and not professional engineering, financial, or legal advice.
Figures the model cannot verify are labeled as representative or illustrative. Decisions about your products remain yours, made with your own qualified engineers and advisors.

3. License to use the tools

You may use the in-browser tools for evaluation and internal business purposes. The downloadable BOM Intake Kit files carry their own license (kit/CLIENT_LICENSE.md in the engagement materials); everything else on this site — content, design, research articles, the engines behind the tools — remains Climacope's property. Research articles may be quoted with attribution and a link.

4. Acceptable use

No scraping at abusive volume, no attempting to breach the analytics or hosting infrastructure, no misrepresenting tool output as a Climacope-issued audit or certification, and no use of the site to build a competing service from our content.

5. No warranty; liability

The site and free tools are provided "as is", without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Climacope is not liable for decisions made in reliance on free-tool output or site content. (Liability language to be finalized by counsel together with the engagement agreement's cap structure.)

6. Privacy

How this site handles data — cookieless analytics, local-only tools, the contact form — is described in the Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms. The Climacope Compliance application has its ownterms.

7. Changes, contact, governing law
