This policy covers climacope.com — the marketing site, the research library, and the free in-browser tools (diagnostic, audit simulator, Origin intake). The Climacope Compliance application has its ownprivacy policy, and client audit engagements are governed by the Data-Handling & Processing Addendum in the engagement agreement — both are stricter and more specific than this page. For how each product minimizes data by design, see the privacy architecture page.
We run our own page analytics. It sets no cookies, uses no localStorage, and involves no third-party trackers or ad networks. Per pageview we receive: the page path, the referrer, your viewport width, and the event name for goals (e.g. "clicked Book a demo"). Visitors are counted with a salted hash thatrotates daily, so visits cannot be linked across days; raw IP addresses are never stored. Because nothing identifies you and nothing persists on your device, no consent banner is required.
The free diagnostic and the audit simulator run entirely in your browser. Files you load into them (bills of materials, product data) are processed locally and arenever uploaded — you can confirm this in your browser's network inspector. We see the pageview (per §2), not your data.
The "Book a demo" / contact form is processed by Formspree (our form provider), which passes us what you enter — typically your name, work email, and message. We use it to respond to you, and for no other purpose: no marketing lists, no sharing, no selling. Ask us at any time to delete a submission.
Depending on where you live you may have statutory rights (access, rectification, erasure, objection). For anything in this policy — questions, deletion requests, complaints — use the contact form.(Regional specifics — GDPR/CCPA articles, transfer mechanisms for Formspree — to be finalized with counsel.)
